What can I transcribe?
Audio files (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG) and video files (MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI, M4V), up to 500MB each. You can also paste a link to a video instead of uploading anything.
Can I transcribe a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram link?
Yes, for public videos up to 3 hours long. Paste the link and we fetch the audio and transcribe it. Private, login-only or age-restricted videos can't be fetched, and a site may occasionally block a link. If that happens, download the video and upload the file instead. Only transcribe content you have the right to use.
Is my audio or video stored after transcription?
No. The original file (or the audio fetched from a link) is processed and then discarded — only the transcript, summary, and any tags or notes you add are kept.
Do you support mobile money?
Yes. Payments run through Flutterwave, which supports cards as well as MTN and Airtel Mobile Money.
Is there really a free trial?
Yes — 1 hour of transcription credit when you sign up, no card required.
What happens if I run out of credit mid-month?
You can upgrade your plan or buy a top-up pack (10 hours for UGX 20,000) at any time. Before a file is processed you'll see exactly how much credit it needs, so a job never starts without enough hours.
Do my hours expire?
Hours are valid for 30 days from the day they're added to your account. You can see your remaining hours and the expiry date in the app. When they expire, transcription pauses until you add more hours, and any unused hours stay on your account.
